Yes, Espoma Holly-Tone Plant Food 4-3-4 is labeled to be used on many tree varieties including Fir trees.  According to the Fact Sheet provided by the manufacturer for trees, Use 1 lb. of Holly-tone per inch of trunk diameter. Triple the quantity for diameters three inches and over.
