Is Extinguish Fire Ant Bait the best product for fire ants to treat 3.5 acres that can be applied with a spreader?

Answer:

Extinguish Fire Ant Bait will eradicate fire ants when they are actively foraging looking for food. /This is a slow acting bait to allow time for the bait to be taken back to the colony and shared with the queen. Extinguish Fire Ant Bait also contains an IGR that helps stop the queen from being able to reproduce therefore eliminating the colony.  Extinguish Fire Ant Bait can be applied as individual mound treatments or as a broadcast treatment. Mound treatments are applied at 3 - 5 Tbsp. per mound or 1 - 1.5 lbs. per acre. One 25lb bag is enough to treat 17 acres.
