Is Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench safe for use on Japanese Maple (tamukeyama variety) and Butterfly Bush?

Curious if anyone (mfr or customers) can confirm safe results (no harm) after using the active ingredient (imidicloprid) as a systemic on: 1) Japanese Maple; and 2) Butterfly Bush

Answer:

We have not heard individual results of using the Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench on specific plants/trees but there should be no issue.  The active ingredient Imidacloprid is safe when used as directed and one of the top systemic products.
