Is it better to apply CAL FLO Liquid Limestone before or after seeding a new lawn?

Soil Test says a pH of 4.9 and recommends 40lbs per 1000 sq ft. I am aerating so was planning on aerating, applying lime and fertilizer, drag the cores then drill seed. I see your answer to another question says to apply after seeding. Why?

Answer:

If you are doing a seeding, for example, where you need both immediate and long term results, then you can apply both a quick acting lime product such as CAL FLO Liquid Limestone and a long-term lime prodcut such as Austinville Limestone Pelletized Dolomitic Limestone Pellets to help get that immediate adjustment and long-term results. CAL FLO Liquid Limestone is recommended by the manufacturer to be applied right after seeding but before any type of fertlizer to help new seed germinate better and will provide residual of 8 to 12 weeks. We recommend testing the pH again around that time and reapplying as needed.
