In a YouTube video featuring Turf Grass Specialist Zac Reicher, he talks about applying Tenacity right after seeding Buffalograss however, a publication by Colorado State University's Extension on planting Buffalograss says
Tenacity Herbicide should be applied to listed tolerable turfgrasses at grass seeding or close to seeding for best results. If you are not close, meaning within a week of the application, then you would need to wait until the grass is established to make the application.
