Is it safe to eat fruit (Apples) in the first year after Sevin is applied? Will it kill asiatic garden beetles already hatched as well as grubs?

Answer:

Sevin SL Carbaryl Insecticide can be applied up to 3 days before harvest of apples so it is safe to eat, just be sure to wash well before doing so.   It is labeled for white grubs in turfgrass and beetles on trees as directed on the product label.
