I have a two acre lawn with both fescue and Bermuda grass. Both grasses are no longer dormant and now growing.
Triad Select Herbicide could be used if the target weeds are actively growing and healthy. The rate is 1.1 to 1.5 fl oz per 1000 sqft in 0.5 to 5 gallons of water. Large volumes of spray water (i.e., one fluid ounce in 5 gallons of water per 1500 square feet) will aid in obtaining uniform coverage. Water is just the carrier is not as important as making sure the correct amount of product is applied over the area, it should be sufficient water to get good coverage.
