Is Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide safe to apply to a new lawn seeded 10 days ago showing signs of pythium blight?

I seeded my lawn 10 days ago and have good growth, but I see spots of pythium blight. Could I apply this now without hurting My tall fescue

Answer:

Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide is labeled for pythium blight in turfgrasses at the rate of 0.49 to 0.98 fl oz in 1 to 5 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft immediately after seeding. Retreat at 7 to 14 day intervals if conditions remain favorable for disease. For best results, additonal irrigation or rainfall of ½ inch is recommended within 24 hrs after the application. Refer to page 14 of the product label for more information.
