Bonide Weed Beater Complete can be applied in spring, summer and fall before weeds germinate. For crabgrass prevention, the product label advises to apply in late fall when soil temps are just below 50 degrees but before the ground freezing. This is going to help control crabgrass the following spring. In early spring, apply when the soil temps rise to 50-55 degrees for pre emergent control of crabgrass and other weeds during the growing season.  ** This product can be applied twice a year as long each application does not exceed the maximum single rate application for the specific turfgrass or 8.6lbs per 1000 sq ft.  Bonide Weed Beater Complete provides post emergent control for the weeds listed in Table 2 on the product label. Review the product label for more information.
