Is PT PI Aerosol Insecticide effective against carpenter ants?

Answer:

PT PI Aerosol Insecticide is not specifically labeled for carpenter ants but does list it will control ants in general. This is a contact kill aerosol only and does not leave a residual.  PT Phantom II Pressurized Insecticide would be a better option for Carpenter Ants as this is a non repellent insecticide that will allow the active ingredient to transfer throughout the colony.  Please take a few minutes to review our Carpenter Ant Treatment Guide for more information and recommendations to eliminate Carpenter Ants.
