It seems plastic tanks and spray wands are all made with lead for some reason. Spraying fertilizer - and lead - on my tomatoes just isn't an enticing thought and purchase trigger.
According to Chapin, they do include a lead disclosure with all of their sprayers. With any sprayer containing a brass wand, nozzle or shut off assembly there is a small amount of lead that could be present. The studies and research conducted with Premier Pro Tri-Poxy Steel Sprayer 1 Gal. (1180) showed the least amount of lead present and they were not able to give it a percentage rate. For further information, we would recommend contacting Chapin directly at 1-800-950-4458.
