I'm trying to put about 1/2 lbs. / 1,000 SF on my 7,000 SF lawn.
TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 has 28% nitrogen which is equivalent to 26.25 lbs, the rate would be 21.75 oz for 0.5 lbs. This is a slow-release nitrogen that you will have to apply every couple of weeks. You can break this down to 7.25 fl oz per 1000 sqft and apply 3 times at 1 or 2 week intervals throughout growing season to get the rate needed.
