For a smaller lawn, you can use Image Kills Nutsedge to treat poa in a warm season lawns. For larger lawns, we recommend Certainty Herbicide. You also want to be sure you are using a pre-emergent in late summer/early fall before soil temps fall below about 70 degrees. This will help prevent germination of poa the following winter/spring.Prodiamine, Pendimethalin, or Dithiopyr are great active ingredients for this application.
