For best absorption in dry rot should the wood be dry or wet and can I paint the wood after awhile

Answer:

No, Bora-Care does not contain epoxy. Applying Boracare would not affect epoxy bonding, or paint to the wood beam as long as the Bora-Care application has had enough time to completely dry. This usually takes 24-48 hours. For best absorption, the wood must be dry before applying the Boracare.
