Is there an ideal outdoor temperature that Hi-Yield Nutsedge and Horsetail Control should be sprayed?

When can I pull it out the garden? Just wondering if the product will work if it's 70's outside or if it needs to be warmer. I have used this product several times and can't seem to get rid of this horsetail. At what point can you safely remove to weed after spraying to ensure no further spreading of the spores?

Answer:

Hi-Yield Nutsedge and Horsetail Control is best applied in temperatures above 55 and below 85.  It is a slow kill so can take up to 6 weeks or so to completely kill.   Per the label: For post-emergent control of Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) apply after Horsetail has leafed out. This product will control Horsetail that is less than 6 inches tall and suppress Horsetail that is greater than 6 inches tall. Herbicide symptoms are likely to show within 2 weeks as a necrotic ring at the base of the plant, even though the leaves and stems remain green and a deep leathery green in color.
