Jennifer from Sevierville, Tn writes

Is there an insect growth regulator that lists mealybugs?

Answer:

One of the only insect growth regulators for mealybugs is Talus 70DF Insect Growth Regulator. This IGR works by interrupting chitin biosynthesis in mealybugs, preventing oviposition of adults and suppressing the growth of eggs. It effectively controls through contact, ingestion and vapor activity, and it offers a fast-acting solution and greater control potential compared to other IGRs. Please keep in mind that this product is not an adulticide and the product label does suggest the first application be made as soon as insect activity is observed.
