According to the Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait label, "This product is extremely toxic to mammals and birds. Dogs, cats and other predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten the bait." If secondary poisioning occurs, we recommend contacting your vet as soon as possible. We recommend using tamper resistant bait stations. Unfortunately, there is no bait for the ground squirrels that will not affect the animals around the property, that is why they are placed in a secure box.
