Is this safe for a space that is occasionally occupied by chickens?

I intend to use this on my cattle pasture, but I'd also like to use it in one section of my 'yard' where the chickens forage. Is it safe for chickens?

Answer:

Chaparral Herbicide has the following grazing restrictions according to the product label: Grazing and Haying Restrictions: There are no restrictions on grazing or grass hay harvest intervals following application of Chaparral at labeled rates. Do not transfer grazing animals from areas treated with Chaparral to areas where sensitive broadleaf crops occur without first allowing 3 days of grazing on an untreated pasture. Otherwise, urine and manure may contain enough aminopyralid to cause injury to sensitive broadleaf plants. - Grazing Poisonous Plants: Application of this product may increase the palatability of certain poisonous plants. Do not graze areas treated with Chaparral until poisonous plants are dry and no longer palatable to livestock. It should be fine for chickens as long as they are removed from the area during application and you wait until the application has dried.
