Matt from Colorado Springs writes

Is this the right product for Fire Blight?

I have 2 bartlet pear espalier trees with fire blight. The blight showed up late in the season so it didnt spread to badly. Colorado University recommends Bordeaux mixtures for Colorado fire blight. I dont have time to make my own before leaves and blossoms show up. Is this the right product? Further recommendation specifies Fixed copper fungicides (Copper hydroxide) (Copper oxychloride) (Basic copper sulfate) (Bordeaux mixture)

Answer:

Yes, Bonide Liquid Copper Fungicide is labeled for use on pear trees for fire blight. Here is a link to the product label instructions: https://www.domyown.com/msds/Copper-Fungicide-Label.pdf
