Is there anything we should do additionally to make the spaces safe for pets while treating and after? I have small dogs and bird mites from a bird nest that was inside a wall I was renting which led to a hole in the windowsill into a bedroom which led to us being bitten all over, I learned bird mites are cousins to bed bugs and hope to be bug freer as soon as possible. Thank you!
It is not necessary to make further accommodations. You will need to have them removed when applying & allow them to fully dry prior to them entering treated areas. If not done so, we recommend covering the hole as it may be used as an entry point for pests as well. The Bed Bug Control Kit has CimeXa Dust included and if you are planning on using it in carpets, just be sure to rake the powder into the carpet with a broom, and vacuum up any excess dust that may still be sitting on the tops of the carpet.
