I have stubborn Mealybugs in my succulents. I've used the Ortho Fruit , Flower and Vegetable product and it seemed to work . But I think there may be something in the inert ingredients of that product that is a little harsh on my succulents. I'd like to try this product since you mix just a small amount with water . Maybe it has less harsh inert ingredients. Acetamiprid is the best ingredient to kill Mealybugs based on my research because it also kills the eggs . If this product isn't safe for succulents, which acetamiprid product do you recommend? Thank you !
Unfortunately none of the acetamiprid products that we carry are labeled for succulents. You could potentially use Safari 20SG for containerized plants in a greenhouse to treat sucking pests like mealybugs. We recommend contacting a Master Gardener in your area for recommendations on succulents since they may require different treatment than other ornamentals.
