Is XL 2G effective for pre-emergent control of grass burrs (sand burr) in southern lawns?

Southern turf grasses common to our area are Bermuda grass, Tiff, St. Augustine and several varieties of Zoysia.

Answer:

XL 2G granules are safe to use on tall fescue and warm season grasses such as Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Buffalograss, Centipedegrass, St.  Augustinegrass and Zoysiagrass. It is also labeled for field sandbur. Please refer to the product label for more detailed information on the product application instructions.
