Eaton Jawz are my favorite
By Rich on 02/17/2017
I have used other traps by various manufacturers. If the bait is gone but the trap did not set I consider that a failure. In the traps from Eaton the bait is not eaten! But the Critter is caught. I have them in multiple sizes. Quality is the least expensive in the long run.

great trap!
By Dl on 02/02/2018
I have used these before... It is a great trap, easy to set, doesn't give you that scary feeling of being 'caught'! You do have to make sure the peanut butter, cheese or what ever you put on to catch your varmint is in the circle part. If not it weighs down the flat part that hooks under the 'lock' part. It won't set because it's too heavy. We have caught many mice with this!

Tips
By Lisa on 03/23/2019
This is the best and most humane trap available. I use this, as well as electric traps, and this one catches the most quickly and cleanly. Keep in mind that most mice enter the home through the attic and between the foundation and the structure. That said, I would cut back all tree branches at least three feet from your roof, place traps in the attic, as well as on top of the cinder block or cement foundation in the basement. I call the top of the basement wall the "mouse highway", and I place one on every available wall. When the trap goes off, it usually drops down to the floor for easy disposal, so keep this in mind if you have pets.

Incompetent wimpy negative reviews
By Richard on 02/27/2021
This trap is outstanding! Takes a little sensitivity to figure out how to balance the placement of peanut butter and making sure the trap is set right. Took me a few times but I've got it down to a fine science now. These traps have turned my home into a killing field. Got to at once. Sometimes it's a headshot or a chest shot or just a foot shot. Bottom line is they work and they kick ass. The complainers and fabricators of misinformation represent the Latter-Day dumb as a rock mentality. Don't ask me how I really feel because I'd be censored because I'm a United States Marine.

Buyer BEWARE
By Mark on 11/20/2022
These traps are pretty easy to set and fairly effective. BUT BUYER BEWARE! These are One Time Use Only. Whether you catch a mouse or not once it snaps the hinge breaks and it cannot be used again. As such these are a very poor value.

The definitive "Better Mousetrap"
By R on 03/05/2021
Glue, no show, or a gruesomely horrid mouse exit. The JAWZ kills most immediately, and humanely. Rarely does a mouse leave unmarked. Have pulled 10 of the critters (a mischief of mice?) out, and curiously enough, all traps set in upper level of oven...Now thanks to JAWZ, house is meecer free!

Mouse/Chipmunk trap
By John on 05/09/2020
I bought this trap to try to get rid of chipmunks that were taking over my yard. The trap was able to catch them quickly, however, the trap did not kill them but either maimed the animal or just held it. I would not recommend this product to catch chipmunks.
