I purchased the item to capture/kill squirrels, it did neither. I've had them at the base of two different trees that squirrels run up and down and the squirrels don't even look at the trap they just run right by as if it didn't exist. They have been in place for about two weeks with a nice tasty pecan (yes a good one). At least the two traps I purchased were cheap.

I bought this because I thought the design was great.. turns out it is!! It doesn't puncture the rodents at all and works wonderfully!!

Got 'em! I first baited 3 times without setting the traps. Set the traps and got both chipmunks.

Set the trap and watched a chipmunk get caught. Exciting. But then the chipmunk escaped! I re set the trap and it happened again. Such a bummer.

no matter where i put the bait they got it with no problem, I even put a small fishing wait on the table hoping it would make it more sensitive noting.

I put 2 of these next to each other along a wall with a 3 inch separation and caught a bunch. That's a much better technique than singles. I also used wire which I connected the trap to a long metal nail pounded into the ground. I can't lose any traps that way. Very sensitive.

This trap is GREAT!! East to bait and set, very sensitive trigger. Works great on mice too. Kills both dead! It nearly chops mice in half.

I am so happy I found these traps! I have been fighting chipmunks devouring my tomatoes in my garden and used detergents of all kinds, blinking lights, high pitched sound, moth balls, cayenne pepper, deer repellent, but nothing worked. Then I put these traps and baited them with the Do My Own bait and got rid of the pesky critters once and for all! Now my garden is thriving with veggies!

Traps works great! Caught 3 chipmunks in less than 36hrs with just a little peanut butter. Don't know what I caught on the 4th attempt, but something chewed through most of the plastic trap and trap was 100ft away from where I originally set it and empty.

This Rat trap is fabulous, have caught 5 Rats. The first week, peanut butter used. I tried the smaller mouse traps first but no results, snapped but no rat. The big Rat traps worked perfect. Thank you. They were put on our fence out back! Terrific Product!!

Tried two traps with PB, no hits but pb was gone. Those who had good luck must have real hungrey munks.

Service good, delivery good. Product good. (One item in case was defective) Traps work well, we use peanut butter or mellon as bait. Many dead rats, one bird (oops), and one bird release. No mice. No Squirrels. Rats like my fruit trees this time of year.

It's not that I enjoy doing this but enough was enough. They have destroyed everything I've planted. These work great. 5 in 24 hrs.

These traps are easy to use. We got field mice in the garage & the first evening we trapped 2 mice. We haven't had any other mice, but we keep the traps set at all times. I recommend these to everyone.

We are being over-run by chipmunks. They have become very destructive -- Burrowed under brick steps, chewed on the front of the house by the steps, and live and chew many of our trees. Also try to make homes in our vehicles. They are cute, but not in droves. This trap works well, and is much safer for "fingers" than the steel traps.

I'm on my second JAWZ trap, mainly because after killing two chipmunks with the first one, somehow after I reset it, whatever set it off must have gotten it attached to itself and ran off with it, never to be seen again. When I received the second trap, I screwed it down to a block of 2 by 4 lumber. Since then, I've killed two in two days using sunflower seeds for bait. I learned not to ever use peanut butter as bait because it attracts ants. The seeds work well.

Easy to set, easy to empty, usually don't loose the bait. Catches mice, moles, and Chipmunks. Have them in a box with holes.

The chipmunks were getting bold. One ran under my chair while I was sitting there. I bought 2 traps and got 4 in two days Good purchase

Chipmunks are crafty creatures... Caught 3 so far... success rate is about 1/3 of the time. Quick kill when trapped... Only down side is the inability to effectively "pin" to the ground. The holes in the back the I presume are for this purpose get in the way of the trap itself... only negative and the only reason i did not give 5 stars... bottom line - it will eventually get those little rodents...

I bought one of these traps around noon, and caught 4 the first day. Within a week I caught 11 chipmunks. Just caught another one. 10 of them were clean kills; I had to finish off 2 of them myself.
