The key breaks and poorly designed - the hinge and other parts are well constructed. I am not catching any mice. If the unit doesn't have rodenticide - why does it need a lock key? The other tin cats have a scented glue board and I am not sure why one is not available. One mouse must enter and die, in order for the attraction to work. The mice might not like the cold metal entrance, when the temp is low. I will be happy to retest - as spring is here. But there are better options with Eaton.

Awesome product, I had mice ruining my property in garage and after placing 2 inside and 2 outside the garage, I seem to have the deer mice all under control. Easy to use, only question is why isn't there like a little light to let you know when something is caught? I hate that every time i took a look inside the traps, the mice had already perished.

The lock does not work. The other brands cost a few dollars more and well worth the extra cost. I will not get this type again.
