I keep putting mouse poison out every night, and it is fully eaten in morning. How long does it take to work?

How much can a mouse eat? I am feeding it just one bite. I have not found any dead mice. Does this mean that I have lots of mice? I have only seen one or two live ones.

Answer:

You did not indicate what bait you were using or how much actual bait has been placed. Different baits work differently. Some baits only take 1-2 days while other baits can take 3-5 days to kill rodents. It is very important to put out enough bait for the rodents to receive a lethal dose. Again, the amount of bait needed to obtain a lethal dose will depend entirely on what bait you are using. It is recommended that you put out enough bait so that it is not completely gone by morning.
