Don't over-wind it
By Alison on 12/08/2012
I caught a mouse with this trap (so apparently it works), however the mouse was killed by the trap. Afterwards, I realized it was because I had wound it too many times when I set it, and wished the instructions had warned what would happen if wound it too much. Otherwise, I think it's a good product and worth buying. Just don't over-wind it!

Design change has made the trap to be of poor quality
By Ronald on 11/23/2014
The trap is not as pictured. It now has a very thin plastic top that will break easy. I have used these traps for many years and can remember them from over sixty years ago but will not likely buy another one because of the cheap plastic top now used on them.

Over run by mice.
By Lonnie on 10/21/2017
I now have 6 traps. I live near orchards and open ground so we have a lot of mice and gofers. It isn't uncommon to catch 10 a day. The traps are good quality and I put a small amount of wheat and rice in them to attract rodents. I also cover them with a large box or flower pot turned upside down to make an inviting environment for mice. After years of trying other methods I have found what works for me.

Carnival Ride for Voles
By Emmy on 06/20/2016
I bought this Made in USA catch for voles. It works - and it gives the voles a last "spin" before they go. Of the voles that this catch has caught, more have died upon trapping then have lived. I check the catch three times per day and there is food inside if they want it. If you are determined to save all your voles and relocate them, this may not be the catch for you.

no instructions! It mangled my mouse!
By Ellen on 11/09/2018
The first mouse was so injured she had to be killed. My grandparents used this product when I was a child- we always released the mice in the woods. BUT! she was so badly mangled! I DID NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT TO KILL ANIMALS!!!!!!! Looking online someone said to only wind it 3 times another said 1 time. The demonstration YouTube showed him winding it like 7 times. There were no instructions included. I didn't know how many times to wind the lever. How can you sell this without instructions? I threw it out. SOOOO sad. If you have one that works AND instructions, please replace the one I disposed of!

This trap harms the mice
By Tashi on 04/02/2018
It certainly works! But I did NOT over wind it and the snap action broke a mouse's back. I've had the trap for more than 90 days before I used it (I don't trap in the winter) so I cannot return it. Sadly, it'll go in the landfill.

Catches Mice
By John on 07/31/2020
In practice this trap is either a live, single-catch trap or a death-by-cannibalism multi-catch trap. It does well at catching multiple mice in a single setting. That said, partially eaten mouse carcasses are a bloody, smelly mess to clean up. If you don't mind that, this trap is well-designed. After several uses, I am going back to the jaw-style trap for simplicity of disposal and cleaning after a catch.

A trap that worked quickly
By Victoria on 05/04/2019
Pest control came to my home and did a terrific job of sealing up points of ingress where mice were getting in. But we had one holdover who was living in the kitchen and likely had no escape route once the mice entries were sealed. So I purchased the Ketch-All, and we caught the mouse within 48 hours. No mice since! The trap worked exactly as advertised, and I'm glad I have it on hand.

Works Well but?
By Ron on 08/26/2022
Traps work very well but if you place these traps outside? The clear lids end up dry rotting fairly quick and the rodents jump right out without much effort. To purchase clear replacement lids you just as well by a whole new unit as the clear lids are overly expensive for what they are. If you can even find them . Lids were $60.00 for 12 cheap plastic Lids...Tupperware lids aren't even that expensive?
Expert response:
Ketch-All Humane Live Multi Catch Mouse Trap with Clear Lid is designed for and best for indoor trapping only.

Great product, shipping needs improvement
By Ds on 05/05/2023
The Ketch-All are great, but when received the box was very light (almost like a hollow box) and there was a small tear in the cardboard. There was barely any air pillows and one Katch-All had a significant bend in the end removable panel. I was able to bend it enough to work to slide it back in again. -I usually remove-slide the top to remove mice anyways. The second Ketch-All had no lid on it and I found it had slid under the cardboard flap at the bottom of the box. Everything ended well, but better packing is needed to protect the product.
