We would not recommend that you apply new seed until after you have applied Lilly Miller Moss Out and removed any dead moss in the area. The manufacturer recommends waiting 2 weeks after application of Lilly Miller Moss Out Lawn Granules to seed. You may also want to check your soil pH and evaluate if you need to aerate or do any other soil alterations to make the area more appropriate for the grass seed and less favorable to the moss to prevent it growing back again.

There are no restrictions on how often Lilly Miller Moss Out Lawn Granules can be applied. The product label recommends applying when the lawn is moist or with the first fall rains, during warm rainy or winter periods, and/or in early spring.
Per the product label, mow the lawn prior to the application to expose exisitng moss as this allows the granules to fall through the grass to the soil and go to work. Water in to hasten the moss killing action and greening process. We would recommend mowing 2 days before and waiting atleast 2 days following the application to mow again.
