I have 2 galvanized trash cans, 1 for dog food and another for bird seed. We got 2 dogs and wanted another can for dog waste. Searched around pretty thoroughly and settled on the Little Giant. It is NOT "heavy duty". I was worried about how it would hold up outside so swapped it out for the bird seed container which really is heavy duty. The Little Giant will work fine for holding bird seed. The lid is pretty flimsy and again doesn't live up to the "heavy duty" description. Additionally, I had some concerns about how the lid would function in rain without leaking. If you need a heavy duty can, this is not it.

Garbage. Not worth half the price. Thin, cheap, made in China, and definitely not heavy duty. Avoid this.

I love my garbage can I use it for birdseed it keeps the seed safe from rodents nice tight lid.
