Manna Pro Pure Defense is active for as long as it remains in place. Should the product get wet, accumulate a lot of dust, or get removed somehow by washing, sweeping, or vacuuming, then it would need to be re-applied as needed in those areas.
Manna Pro Pure Defense should not be ingested or inhaled. It should only be applied to cracks and crevices with the use of a bulbous duster or other suitable equipment depending on what you are treating for.
Manna Pro Pure Defense is intended for application with a hand duster, power duster or other suitable equipment for applications where insects are found. Apply to cracks and crevices. In living areas, make applications in such a manner as to avoid deposits on exposed surfaces or introducing the material into the air. Treat a small area of surface to be treated and look for staining or other adverse reaction before making regular application. Apply lightly and uniformly to infested areas. The amount of product will vary with the site but should usually be in the range of 1 – 5 oz/100 square feet. Thoroughly treat floor and bedding in and around pets’ sleeping quarters. Treat surrounding cracks and crevices, baseboards, carpeting and wherever fleas are suspected. Keep pets out of the area during the treatment.
A diatomaceous earth product such as Manna Pro Pure Defense would not be recommended for fungus gnats. Fungus gnats are usually found due to over-watering, so we would recommend to first be sure to allow plants to properly drain and dry up some to eliminate the breeding environment. You can use a systemic insecticide such as Bonide Systemic Granules incorporated into the soil of containerized plants. You can also apply a residual insecticide spray such as Talstar P over the top of the soil of infested plants.
According to the manufacturer, Manna Pro Pure Defense should not be mixed with water. The product should only be applied to cracks and crevices with the use of a bulb duster or other suitable equipment.
