Martin's Permethrin 10% is labeled for mites and fogging poultry houses, swine houses, cattle and horse barns, etc. Per the label, “FOG OR FINE MIST: Apply, directing the spray toward the ceiling and upper corners until the area is filled with mist. Use about 2 ounces per 1000 cubic feet of space. For best results, close doors and windows before spraying and keep closed for 10-15 minutes. Remove animals prior to treatment, ventilate before reoccupying. Dilute 8 ozs. in 6.25 gals. water.”
Yes, Martins Permethrin 10% is labeled to treat for chich bugs. Per the product label you would thoroughly wet down grassa few hours before applying. Home lawns should be no taller than 3 inches at time of application. Slightly more water may be used as long as the amount of product per area is as listed below. For heavy infestations, repeat application after 2 weeks. You would use 1.5 fl ozs in 10 gallons of water to cover 1000 sq ft.
Martins Permethrin 10% is not waterproof but can stay on dogs for a short time after application. You can reapply 2 to 3 weeks after first application per the product label.

When using Martins Permethrin 10% for treating cattle you will need to dulite 8 ounces of the product in 50 gallons of water and apply to cattle by spraying them with the mixed solution thouroughly covering the entire animal. A second treatment can be made after 14-21 days from the first application. Also refer to the product labeling before making any application.
Martin's Permethrin 10% cannot be applied to anything edible. You may be able to use something like Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin instead. Please consult the product label to make sure that the insect(s) you are targeting and the specific edibles you will be applying to are listed. When treating for fleas, you will need to apply Martins Permethrin 10% (or any other product you are using) at 14-day intervals, being sure to vacuum once a day between applications. While you can use Martins Permethrin 10% as a tick dip on pets, we would recommend contacting your vet for advice on the best treatment if the pet is heavily infested.

Spray to thoroughly cover entire animal. For lice or mites a second treatment is recommended 14-21 days later. Spray lactating dairy cows only after milking is completed.
SPOT TREATMENT - LOW PRESSURE SPRAY Apply 1/2 oz. per ear or 2-4 oz. on face or 12-16 oz. along the backline.
Martins Permethrin 10% will not harm cats if they are kept out of the treated area during application and until everything is thoroughly dry. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

The manufacturer recommends that you do not apply Martins Permethrin 10% to pigs until they are 12 weeks old.
Spraying your lawn with Martins Permethrin for ticks will not harm birds, however you may notice less of them around as the permethrin will kill many of the insects that they would be feeding on in the yard.
Neither Martins Permethrin or any other permethrin concentrate product that we carry or others carry should be used on clothing for anyone unless the product label specifically says you can use it in that manner and gives you the mix rates for that use. You can look for specifically formulated aerosol or wash products for preventing ticks normally in the hunting sections or camping sections of stores.
Martins Permethrin 10% is only labeled to be used as a flea and tick dip on dogs. It would not be effective against preventing bites from other insects.
Martins Permethrin 10% should not be applied to cats. This product is extremely toxic to them. For dogs, Martins Permethrin 10% can be reapplied every 2-3 weeks. It is recommended that you wet the ground before applying the product to increase the effectiveness.
Although Martins Permethrin 10% is a livestock and premise spray, it should not be applied to grazing areas.
Martins Permethrin 10% is not labeled to be used in pastures that are grazed or used for hay. It can be used in swine homes and pigs can return to the area once dry. Typically a few hours is best.
