Following the instructions, I laid down this product a few hours before it started to rain. Over the next two weeks, I observed dozens of grubs coming up to the surface and dying. It worked quickly and did not harm my bermuda grass.

Ever since I started using Merit 0.5, my mole problem has been eliminated. It definitely does the job in getting rid of mole crickets and grubs, the moles' favorite diet.

Last year I used Merit on my lawn and had minimal mole damage. I didn't treat my berm's and moles dug burrows all over them searching for Grubbs to eat. When planting this spring, I noticed a lot of grubs in my berms. I sprinkled Merit over all of my berms and now, when planting, I've come across zero grubs. Next week I will apply it on my lawn. I will NEVER go through spring without applying Merit 0.5 G insecticide granules.

I've tried many grub control products over the years, and Merit 0.5G is head-and-shoulders more effective than any of the others. It's hard to find locally -- in my area, I have to web order it -- but it's worth the trouble. Considering other vendors' shipping charges, DoMyOwn offers the most competitive price.

I’ve only seen one grub in our front yard over a year ago. I’ve been using this once in the spring ever since and have never seen another one. We also aren’t getting our yard destroyed by the hogs that have attacked some neighbors yards recently so I take that as confirmation that this stuff is working.

Used to rid the yard of white grubs. Applied in early summer trying to beat the growth cycle. So far I haven't noticed any while planting or general turf care. Overall, to completely remove the grubs it could take up to two seasons.

I wanted to be proactive on my grub problem this year and I applied another brand in the middle of May. It did work but not completely effective. I saw the Merit product on “Do MY Own” site and gave it a try. It is very effective. I had a lot of thatch this year and I think it slowed down how fast it works. It is working but slower than I wanted. I definitely would buy it again and probably apply it a couple of week earlier.

It's hard to know for sure but applying this insecticide along with another different one (duocide) has caused my mole infestation to stop this year in the lawn. I'm sure the merit gets rid of insects because there are now no birds that land on the lawn looking for food either. Sorry to miss the birds but so happy to be rid of moles!

Thanks, the product was excellent. Thanks, my order Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules arrived on the 5th of February 2025; my only complaint was that this shipment was in a small parcel box containing my 30-pound granules. When you cut the box with a razor blade, it cuts into the product. I've been with DoMyOwn for many years and this wasn't one of my favorite deliveries of my product,

Excellent product. I had skunks and raccoons digging up my yard for the white grubs and tried all the big box remedies. I finally found the Merit 0.5 and for the past two years have applied it at recommended treatment rates. I now have no grubs and watch the raccoons on my cameras as they walk through my yard to the neighbors to tear up his yard. I highly recommend Merit 0.5 and domyown.com for purchasing.
