    I am looking for the product bacillus thuringiensis var. tenebrionsis aka san diego.
    I hope to use this product for control of potatoe beetle thank you

    To control Potatoe Beetle, you could use Monterey B.T.  which contains bacillus thuringiensis For fruits and vegetables use 1.5 oz. per 3 gallons of water; on ornamentals apply 2 oz. per 3 gallons of water. Please follow the product label for application.

    Can Monterey BT be mixed with garden insect spray for caterpillars at the suggested ration for each?
    Can I mix 2oz/gal of Monterey insect spray with 1oz/3gal of BT??

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide? is an organic OMRI rated insecticide and should not be mixed with any other insecticides.  Doing so would change its formula and composition and it would not longer work as intended.  Monterey B.t. Insecticide is mixed at 1.5 oz. per 3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. for Fruits and Vegetables and 2 oz. per 3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. for Ornamentals.

    Can Monterey B.t. Be used as a systemic for pest control?
    I am a registered marijuana caregiver and think I may have pest in resevoir (possibly fungus gnat larvae.

    Can I use Monterey B.t. Insecticide on my lawn for moths?
    I have a month old lawn that somehow got moth. Can I use Monterey Bt?

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide is not labeled for use on home lawns.  Bifen IT would be a better option.

    Will Sevin Insecticide Granules kill gypsy moth caterpillars?
    Can I spray this on my house and deck areas?

    Sevin Insecticide Granules are not labeled for Gypsy Moth Caterpillars. Monterey B.T. Insecticide is labeled for gypsy moth caterpillars and can be used on fruits, vegetables, ornamentals and shrubs. 

    Fruits and Vegetables: 1.5 oz. per 3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft.
    Ornamentals  2 oz. per 3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft.

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide can be applied in a hand pump sprayer or hose end applicator for applications to shade trees and ornamentals.

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide should be applied with a handpump sprayer. It is not labeled to be used in a cold fogger.

    Can I use Monterey Bt to help control fungus gnats in house plants?

    Monterey B.t. is not labeled to treat fungus gnats. A good product for indoor house plant use for fungus gnats would be Bonide Systemic Granules Insect Control. Please see the label for complete application instructions.

    What is the shelf life of Monterey B.t. Insecticide?
    I have a bottle of concentrate that is nearly 5 years old. It is the color brown. Will it still be effective?

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide will last about 3 years once opened as long as stored correctly. Keeping it out of extreme temperatures & out direct sunlight. If the bottle was already open, we would not advise using a 5 year old bottle

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide is not labeled for fleas or ticks.  Wondercide Outdoor Pest Control - Lawn and Landscape would be a good natural product to use.

    Can I use Monterey BT Insecticide to kill diamond back moths?

    Does Monterey BT kill fungus gnats?

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide is not labeled to control fungus gnats. Ultra-Pure Oil Horticultural Insecticide, Miticide and Fungicide. Please refer to the product label for application rates depending on where you are treating.

    Can I mix Monterey B.t. Insecticide with Lacto Bacillus since this is also in the bacillus family and not an insecticide?
    Lacto bacillus is all natural. Made from a rice culture and milk. I would not see Andy reason for negative impact except maybe washing away the BT as it is sprayed in conjunction with the lacto?

    Monterey B.t. Insecticide should only be mixed with water and we would not recommend tank mixing with other products.

    How much Monterey B.t. Insecticide should be added to 32 ounces of water?

    The mix rates for Monterey B.t. Insecticide range from 1.5 fl oz to 2 fl oz per 3 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft depending on if you are treating Fruits and Vegetables (1.5 oz per 3 gallons of water/1000 sq ft) or Ornamentals (2 oz per 3 gallons of water/1000 sq ft)

    What do you use for cabbage moths?

    Monterey BT would be a great option for use on insects that are commonly found on cabbage. The mixing ratio is 1.5 fl. oz. per 3 gallons of water.
