    Will Spurge power kill vetch? White oak trees?
    A
    Spurge Power is labeled to control vetch in lawns.  If the tree is established, then the Spurge Power should have no effect on the tree. You should try to limit the exposure to the tree and only directly treat the vegetation you are trying to get rid of.

    Yes, Monterey Spurge Power is a concentrate to be mixed with water.  The mixing rate of Monterey Spurge Power is 1 - 1.25 oz. per 2 - 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft per the product label.

    Will Monterey Spurge Power kill the grass when I spray it if I use a low dosage?
    I have violets in my yard (grass).

    Monterey Spurge Power is labeled as safe to apply to Bluegrass, Fescue, Rye, Bent (excluding golf greens and tees), Bahia, Bermuda, and Zoysia.  When used as directed on the label it will not harm turfgrasses listed.

    How much Monterey Spurge Power do I mix with one gallon of water for application on Bermuda grass?
    A

    Monterey Spurge Power is applied at 1.0 to 1.25 fl. oz. in 2 gallons to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions. The water acts as a carrier for the herbicide. Whether it takes 2 gallons or 5 gallons, the product should be applied at 1oz to 1.25 oz per 1000 sq ft.

    Will Monterey Spurge Power have an adverse impact on honey bees?
    We have two hives in our backyard.

    Monterey Spurge Power should not harm honey bees as long as they are not sprayed directly or contact the wet surfaces. It is best to apply products when bees are not foraging.

    Does Spurge Power damage St. Augustine grass?
    I am attempting to get rid or wood sorrel.

    No, Spurge Power is labeled to be used on St. Augustine grass. Per the product label, they do not recommend broadcasting this product when air temperatures are over 80 degrees F. They recommend only spot treating when temperatures are over 80 degrees F.

    Can I blend Spurge Power with Tenacity?
    A

    Monterey Spurge Power already contains a sticker/surfactant in the formulation.  Tenacity requires an additional one mixed with it for post emergent applications, so we would not recommend tank mixing the 2 herbicides together for this reason as it could injure your lawn.

    I'm looking to mix this with blindside do you know if that's ok? Didn't see any mention of this in the label.

    Monterey Spurge Power and Blindside can be mixed together. Be sure to keep the solution agitated during application.

    Can vegetables be planted where Spurge Power has been used?
    I have a hillside covered with wild violets and would like to kill the violets and plant other ornamentals and some vegetables in that plot next year. Is that possible?

    You can plant in areas that have been treated with Monterey Spurge Power 1 year after application.
