Bifen is not labeled to be used in a fogger, so it would need to be applied in a pump sprayer or mister. They products could be used in combination with each other as the Mosquito X will kill on contact and repel the area while Bifen will provide a long residual on treated surfaces to continue to kill.
Mosquito X Ultra should be safe when used around koi ponds. You would not want to spray directly into the pond, but should overspray get in there you should not have any problems.
Mosquito X Ultra when used as directed on the product label is safe to use around kids, pets, lakes, ponds and environmentally sensitive areas. It helps to kill any that are in the area during treatment and then repel them from the area for 2-3 weeks.
Mosquito X Ultra can be used in a mist blower. It contains the same active ingredient, Garlic Oil, as the Mosquito Barrier just in lower percentage. Mosquito X Ultra is mixed at 1 oz of product into 10 gallons of water, then apply that solution to an acre for an infestation. For heavier infestations, mix 1.5 oz per 10 gallons of water, then spread that solution onto the affected area with a pump sprayer.
Diluted Mosquito X Ultra should be used within 24 hrs of mixing with water.
Mosquito X Ultra is not tank mixed with Bifen or Talstar. Either one of these can be applied for residual control (up to 4 weeks) for mosquitoes after the application of the Mosquito X Ultra.
