    A
The MosquitoCon Water-Holding Receptacle + Altosid Larvicide Kit attracts female mosquitoes primarily through standing, stagnant water, which acts as an ideal breeding ground for laying eggs. The kit includes two stations and one 2.5 lb bottle of Altosid Pro-G Mosquito Larvicide for treating the water reservoirs. Altosid Pro-G uses the insect growth regulator (S)-methoprene to prevent mosquito larvae from developing into adults. After filling each station with water, the labeled amount of Altosid Pro-G granules can be applied directly into the receptacle. The stagnant water remains attractive to mosquitoes, which creates consistent larval control at each placement point. This setup offers a centralized method for applying Altosid Pro-G and is intended to supplement broader mosquito management efforts with minimal service requirements.  It is recommended to place 2-3 receptacles for every ¼ acre.  One 2.5 lb bottle of Altosid Pro-G will treat approximately 20k gallons of water.
Each MosquitoCon Receptacle comes with the red leaf guard stored inside the station.  You will need to unlock the receptacle with the included key to access the leaf guard for installation.  One key is supplied per order.
