Seeds are coming from a neighbor's camphor tree (in Central Florida area) and have now begun to sprout. I can easily pull the seeding out but there are several hundred that have emerged after we finally received some rain and I would rather treat the area with a herbicide that won't harm my sod. Provista is said to be glyphosate tolerant but I would prefer to use something else if possible.
We apologize but do not have anything labeled to be effective against this type of seedling. I was able to find an article here that states mowing or removing is best on the seedling trees and that glyphosate is effective it just may take a few applications. Care should be taken to avoid contact with any desirable grass/plants/trees in the area when using it.
