Noreen from Denver, Co writes

Non residual?

I asked if it killed eggs and was like Bedlam Plus. I would not have bought if I had known it did not have residual properties. Don't want bugs showing up after I spray. I spoke to someone and asked and I was not informed. Bedlam Plus is better.

Answer:

According to the Alpine PT product label, it will only work if you spray the insect directly. No residual properties are left. It should not be the sole product used when eradicating bedbugs. You should note that even products that are labeled to kill bedbug eggs are not able to kill 100% of the eggs and you will still be required to do follow up treatments every 7-10 days until no further evidence (bites, blood stains, cast skins, fecal deposits) of bedbugs is noticed.  For more information on treating bedbugs, please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Bedbugs for a  successful eradication program.?
