    How many hours before after it rains can I apply Nufarm Escalade 2?
    A

    It’s best to apply Nufarm Escalade 2 24 hours before you are expecting any rain.

    If Nufarm Escalade 2 is sprayed on lawn will the dicamba or other chemicals seep into soil?
    Would it negatively impact tree roots?
    A

    Nufarm Escalade 2 will not move through the soil from where it is applied.  The label does state to avoid contact with exposed feeder roots of ornamentals and trees.  It would be recommended to keep applications outside of the dripline of these.

    Will overspray of Nufarm Escalade 2 negatively impact ornamentals?

    Since Nufarm Escalade 2 is a broadleaf herbicide, over spray can harm desired ornamentals.

    How long after spraying Escalade 2 should you wait to seed a lawn with tall turf fescue?

    Per the product label, it is recommended to wait 2-3 weeks following the last application of Nufarm Escalade 2 Herbicide to reseed or plant new seed.

    Are the chemicals in Nufarm Escalade 2 inactive in soil or do they have half life?

    How much Nufarm Escalade 2 per gallon for backpack sprayer?
    I will be spot spraying my lawn to kill weeds. How many ounces of Escalade 2 per gallon should I add
    A

    Per the product label for Nufarm Escalade 2 on ornamental turf: Apply 0.75 to 1.1 fl oz in 0.5 to 5.5 gallons of water per 1000 sqft.  This applies for spot treating and broadcasting.  Typically 1 gallon covers approx 1000 sqft.

    Nufarm Escalade 2 is not labeled to target violets. Please provide your turfgrass species for an alternate recommendation.

    Can Escalade 2 Herbicide rid wild strawberries?
    Can it eradicate wild strawberries and does it need a surfactant?

    Yes, Nufarm Escalade 2 Herbicide is labeled for wild strawberries. You can add a wetting agent or surfactant to the tank mix to increase effectiveness on weeds however this may reduce selectivity to turfgrass resulting in injury.  Please view the full product label for more information.
