    Great Product

    I have a small greenhouse business raising perennial flowers. I just learned yesterday that if I mix it in the promix (soil) before planting seeds, I can keep the pests away before they get started. I used to sprinkle it on top of plants and water in and it does a great job at keeping ALL bugs off my perennials. It's easy to use and lasts about 3 months per application. I've been using this product for about 15 years. Good stuff.

    Does this product have a expiration date ?

    Can anyone tell me if this product has a expiration date 5 gallons is a lot to buy at one time. Just curious how long the unused product in the jug will last ?

    Thank you for your review/question. The OHP Marathon 1% Granular will last at least 3 years after you have opened the jug. Hope this helps!

    Got rid of aphids

    Put 1/4 teaspoon on top of soil in one gallon pot on Tuesday by Friday they were all dead. Works great!!!

    Shelf life

    Product was shipped in a timely matter and was as represented in purchase offer. However, the product was manufactured in 2017 thus decreasing the shelf life.

    Must have if you have plants

    I have used Marathon 1% granular for over 10 years and it will amaze you how effective it is regardless the problem. (aphids, mealy bugs). It will not kill ants though, but that's not a big problem usually because other ground insecticides will do.
