    Q
I treated my raised beds with Ortho-Mound fire ant killer. How long do I have to wait before I plant?
    A

Per the manufacturer, "The Ortho Fire Ant Killer Mound Treatment is safe for flower beds; however, if they are not in pots or raised beds. You would need to have the plants in-ground for it to be safe to use this product. Where it is possible, remove and replace as much of the soil as you can from the raised bed you used Ortho Fire Ant Killer Mound Treatment. The soil is still safe to use with ornamental plants (not in a container) or in your lawn. Once removed the soil in your raised bed, you can replace it to ensure your plants will be safe."
