I accidentally applied the Scotts drop spreader medium rate (6.5) on my broadcast spreader (should have been 4.5). That appears to have applied almost double the amount for 6 months of protection before overseeding. Am I out of luck for overseeding in September now? The label does not indicate a timeline for overseeding at such a high rate with the Scotts Elite spreader.
Per the product label for The Anderson's 0.48 Barricade Herbicide when applied at the 6.2 lb/1000 you have to wait at least 10 months before seeding the area so at a little higher you would need to wait at least 11 months. You may also contact the manufacturer directly to confirm when you can reseed after such a higher rate, they can be reached at (877) 474-8262.
