Michael from Rural Route Mcalester Ok writes

Part of my pasture is overrun with milk weed. Will this be safe for Bahaia, Bermuda, Blue Stem and Dallas g

grasses? Is it safe for cattle as the pasture is for baling, for winter food? Also is it safe for drainage areas which flow to my ponds during rains? Since it is a heavy infestation the areas affected would be blanket sprayed.

Answer:

Triad Select Herbicide is not labeled to be used on pastures at all so would not be recommended.  Alligare 2,4-D LV6 Herbicide would be a product to use you should keep applications at least 25 feet away from any water source and avoid areas of runoff.  You can broadcast the area.
