    What does the term "parts" mean for using Pennington Natural Springs Nectar Hummingbird Food 58 oz? Instructions read 1 part nectar to 3 parts water. Is this in cups, tsp, tbsp, etc?

    In this case parts means ratio. For a ratio of 1:3 as suggested for Pennington Natural Springs Nectar Hummingbird Food, if you used 4 fl oz of nectar, you will need to use 12oz of water.
