    How do I apply Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP?
    I read the label, still not sure how to apply. Scotts spreader settings would be nice.

    It is recommended that you use the Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP
     in your Scott's spreader at a 3-4 depending on how quickly you walk. This should be done twice a year.

    Is Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP safe for lawn application around trees?
    Description states it kills weeds. Making sure it is safe for trees

    Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 with 0.03 LOCKUP contains the post-emergent herbicide penoxsulam. Since penoxsulam targets broadleaf weeds, it could also potentially harm desirable ornamentals such as flower, shrubs, and trees. We would not recommend using this product where it could contact the foliage, roots, or branches of desirable ornamental plants.

    We only sell the Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP in a 50lb bag that covers about 12,500 sq ft.

    Is Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP a pre-emergent or post emerge fertilizer? My biggest need is crab grass control.
    A

    Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP contains a post emergent herbicide that controls broadleaf weeds and sedges, it is not labeled for crabgrass.  Anything containing Dimension or Prodiamine would work for pre-emergent control of crabgrass.
