How do I apply Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP?
I read the label, still not sure how to apply. Scotts spreader settings would be nice.

It is recommended that you use the Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP
in your Scott's spreader at a 3-4 depending on how quickly you walk. This should be done twice a year.

Is Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP a pre-emergent or post emerge fertilizer? My biggest need is crab grass control.

Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP contains a post emergent herbicide that controls broadleaf weeds and sedges, it is not labeled for crabgrass. Anything containing Dimension or Prodiamine would work for pre-emergent control of crabgrass.

Pennington Pro Care Fertilizer 15-0-5 .03 LOCKUP can be used when weeds are actively growing as it contains post emergent qualities. Please refer to the product label for specific restrictions based on the type of turfgrass you have. Generally, it is best to apply a fertilizer at the beginning of the growing season when the turf is actively growing and in the fall going into winter. We recommend testing the soil either with a Soil Kit or through your county cooperative extension office. This will determine the amount of nutrients needed and applications. The extension office can also offer more specific timing in your area.

For optimal results, apply this product in the morning when dew is present. If necessary, sprinkler irrigate with less than 1/4 inch of water just before application to maximize particle adherence to leaf surfaces. Avoid watering the treated area within 24 hours of application. Avoid making applications if rainfall is expected for 24 hours following treatment.
