    Is Pennington Sun & Shade Penkoted Grass Seed Mixture pet friendly?
    purchased this seed and didn't realize the extra chemicals were added. the warning label says do not use as food or feed. if my dog picks up sticks and ingests a little will it make her sick.

    Per the manufacturer there are no ingredients in the Pennington Sun & Shade Penkoted Grass Seed mixture that would be harmful to people or pets.  It is best to keep pets out of the area during application and for a few hours after watering just to ensure the area is not disturbed.  For a pet or human to really be harmed they would have to eat their body weight in the seed.
