My dog had ticks, so I mixed and sprayed per instructions mixed at 1/4 fl.oz per pint ... didn't do squat, so I decided to test on live ticks, and was able to verify out of 10 ticks 9 survived for more than 1 hour at the the rated concentration. Increased the dosage and tested again with double , but it did not kill all 10 ticks until I mixed 5/8 fl.oz to each pint. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I am going back to Talstar

Please note that Permethrin is not a contact kill product. It can take 24-48 hours to kill in an insect after they have received a lethal dose of the product.

Not effective as it used to be

Bought same product 4 years ago and this one is not nearly as strong as it was

Thank you for your review. We can tell you that the manufacturer h not changed their formula or the concentration of the Permethrin SFR. Some pests are able to build up a resistance to certain insecticides after repeated exposure over generations and that is possibly the case here. Not happy

I give two stars only because of how easy it was to order and how fast it came. I was not happy with this product because it kept bugs away for 24 hours then all mosquitoes, spiders, ants and more were back with a vengeance. The mixing of this product was frustrating as well. I figured it out but it could have been written in a simpler way.
