Phantom is labeled for use indoors on cracks and crevices. Outdoor applications are limited to spot and crack and crevice treatments around door frames, window frames, eaves, attic vents, and holes where utilities enter into the structure not out in the yard. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions. Also, please take a moment to review our Termite Guides for helpful tips on eradicating this pest.
If you have an active infestation of termites in the wall you will need to treat by drilling directly into the wood to apply a termiticide product. Phantom would be a better option than Timbor if you are dealing with subterranean termites as it will have a transfer effect and be carried back to the colony below ground and spread throughout.
Termidor is definitely the most popular termite treatment product available. Phantom was made more for indoor pest control and perimeter pest control treatments. Since Termidor is not labeled to treat around the indoors for pest control, Phantom was made to serve that purpose. Although Phantom is labeled for termites treating, it does not last nearly as long as Termidor does in the ground and it is also much more costly per finished gallon than Termidor is.
Phantom Termiticide Insecticide is applied at 3 fl oz per gallon of water for ants and roaches as a spot and crack and crevice treatment.
Indoors, apply to surfaces beneath cabinets, surfaces behind sinks, lockers, water pipes, cabinets or pest hiding areas.
For outdoor applicaitons, apply where pests enter around doors, windows, eaves, attic vents and holes in exterior walls where utlities enter. application.

Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide only has a residual of about 90 days on surfaces. It should only be used to directly treat active infestations inside wood and not just to the surface of wood for prevention if you are dealing with termites.
