Phantom SC is not specifically labeled for springtail eradication. We do carry products that you can apply for treating them. Please take a few moments to read our article on How to Get Rid of Springtails for more detailed information. Please let us know if you need anything else.
Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide is not labeled for mites. This would not be an appropriate substitute for registered miticides that may contain the same active ingredient.
We always recommend using more than one product to combat a bed bug infestation. While Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide is a great product to use in this process, it is just one in a combination that we recommend. Phantom is really only labeled to be sprayed around cracks and crevices and baseboard areas, so you would not be able to apply it in all of the areas that would need to be treated for bed bugs. That is why we recommend other products as well, such as those that our found in our Bed Bug Control Kits. Using a combination of products will allow you to treat areas like the tufts and seams of your mattresses and box springs, inside dresser drawers, night stands, underneath furniture cushions, and inside electrical outlets and light switch plates. All of these areas are critical in the elimination of a bed bugs infestation. For more information on recommended products and where to use them, please take a look at our Bed Bug Control Guide.
The manufacturer has recently changed the Phantom Aerosol label to say PT Phantom for "prescription treatment." It's still the same product, just with an updated label.
It is not recommended that you mix two insecticides such as Temprid SC and Phantom together as this can cause issues with resistance. You can alternate between the two if you wish.
As of now there have been no known reports of resistance build up to Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide. We will say that sprays alone are not enough to eliminate bed bugs as you cannot use in all the areas you need to treat for them. We would recommend one of our Bed Bug Control kits here. Which kit you choose depends on the number of rooms you need to treat. We also have a great guide here that explain the treatment that should be done.
Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide can be applied in a hand held pump sprayer or backpack sprayer.
