Read Full Answer »The Extinguish Pluse Fire Ant Bait product label recommends 3 oz. per 5,000 square feet. It is almost impossible to truly evenly distribute the product with a spreader or by hand. Most of our customers distribute by hand, concentrating on higher areas of activity, or they mound treat individually. Some use spreaders such as the Economy Broadcast Spreader, set at the smallest setting to let out the least amount of product and walk evenly over the area as much as possible. -

Some of the other spreaders couldn't broadcast the granules due to size and also due to the toxicity of the chemicals eating the mechanisms. Just wanting to confirm this one will work and the setting that would be appropriate for correct distribution.
